Whats The Best Thing About Owning A Small Ford?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, as the title states; what do you think is the best thing about owning a smaller car? This discussion includes anything up to a focus.

I'll go first!

I love how:

>easy it is to park

>easily I can dart in and out of traffic.

>Half a tank of fuel = good pick up speed.

>1/8 - 1/4 tank = fast-ish to 60.

How quickly it accelerates.

How you can throw her round any corner and it just sticks to the road.

The fact that for an automatic, it's pretty fuel efficient.

Comfortable to drive.

It's not a corsa ;)

Gokart.

/End.

When a Corsa w-anchor tries to overtake you, you can easily floor it and watch them give up.

Nothing?

3 point turn in a single street alleyway = challenge accepted.

Probably can't do that with a Focus lol.

Turning circle of a bus

Turning circle of a bus

Yep.

Especially if you have the larger wheels and the rack limiter, lol.

I bet it's bad with low profile tyres on

parts easy to get even second hand parts

Think my ST has got to have the worse turning circle ever. You try to park it and end up looking a right tool half the time. You have to take a swing at a parking space as if your in a truck lol.

Don't get me wrong I don't think my Focus estate is anywhere near as bad.

But the good thing.

They like to be thrown about. go like 5hite aff a shovel.

But for me. Its the smile it puts on your face when you want to have a bit of fun with it.

Oi!....we're not all like that

Only 99.9999999999999% ;)

So you're telling me that when you see a corsa in your rear view mirror you don't feel your right foot automatically go down?

Don't need to, It's so far behind me it's not worth worrying about.

Tbh the reason they're usually so far behind is because they are stuck in a lay-by broken down. :p

Nope

Not much room inside compared to my old corsa but it feels better.

Glued to the road compared to my corsa.

A lot more responsive than the 1.6 focus I was driving for a while

The car's been described as a tardis. Apparently there's more room in mine than a clio 4 door.
