Anyone know for definite what size flare spanner I need for the rear brake pipe brass locking nut on my MK1 with discs.Sorry being extremely lazy and I m here so what the hell,cheers.

    11mm IIRC mate.

    I would try it with a normal spanner first of you don't have a flare type one, quite often they come out no problem

    Mole grips can work better than flare spanners if you've got access to use them, save spending the fiver.
