Hello. I haven't been active for a while on the forum but i'm back with an interesting question . I recently found an item on ebay but that wasn't the most interesting thing , the picture showing it was . Is it possible to use a mondeo dashboard aka convers+ into a focus 2 prefacelift / facelift ? I guess one can make the wires to fit into the dashboard (maybe the connector is the same) but is it possible to make it functional ? I mean the activation with ids . As far as i know the Gem is the same for either focus or mondeo .

    No, this will never work.

    The connector is completely the same and the Convers+ instrument cluster will light up after the ignition is turned on but the Convers+ instrument cluster will never work. It is not even communicating over the same speed CANbus system.

    The GEM module is also completely different. The Mondeo MK4/MK4.5 does not even have a GEM module like the Focus MK2/MK2.5 has. The Mondeo MK4/MK4.5 is technically much similar to the Focus MK3. These vehicles have a CCC (Central Car Configuration) which is centralized into the Body Control Module and the instrument cluster.
