Was reading Stoney871 post about his new ST (looking forward to seeing some pics soon)

There was a reply about disabling the OBD port,only having my 2011 Titanium in my possession for two months would like to keep it that way.

Can this be disabled on the model I have and if so how?

Take the fuse out apparently disables it, don't ask which one though as I've forgotten :p

I reckon the easiest way to do it without resorting to cutting up the stock socket is to get an extention, something like

then poke the original socket back inside the dash, mount the extension, cut it, put a toggle switch in, connect all the pins up to the battery,

do whatever, safe in the knowledge that the undamaged port is hidden away

I was being serious, very easy to steal our cars, takes less than 10 seconds to be in with engine running and no key in sight

This £4.50 solution from ebay and 10 seconds with a file will sort it
