There is a small square item in the middle of the dash nearest the front screen on my focus 1.6 zetec. Anyone know what is and what it does. Thanx.

    Is it not a Light sensor for the dash lights?

    Also what is the small vent in the middle of the 4 screen heater buttons?

    I guessed at it being the key sensor (probably wrongly) I always wondered what that little grille /vent was between the heated screen switches lol!

    No not manual AC, you only get those sensors with climate control.

    I'm not sure what it is then, mine doesn't have one lol, got a picture?
