jace1969
I have a cheap tracker and works o.k not 100% but do me. How would you power it,its working off Hardwire going into a power socket and off ignition. Don't use car that much so 2 days standing gives me a flat tracker so don't track when i start. Do i just pop it into the 24/7 power socket or the u.s.b one thats on 24/7,u.s.b better as smaller. Or put it somewhere where i can get the trcker out and change battery every 2 weeks or so. Edit.........Rang the supplier and says they should be on 24/7 thats what they are made to do and will never over charge as they have a built in protection, also won't hurt car battery as when they shut into std-by mode after 5mins (if set this way) they use very small amout of power. Has anyone done it this way and is it the best way to go,still on the standard cigi lighter.

In one way it is hard wired,as you said permanent feed as my fiesta cigi lighter is permanent live. You won't find it following wire as it goes behind panels etc, there is just 1 problem. If you pull it out it will last about 4 days max before flat so traking gone then.
