Modifying On Pcp

Hi, this might have been asked a few times before, but if I have a car on pcp and have no intention to give it back at the end and intend to keep paying the car off, can I modify it how I want?

Thanks in advance

Be careful. The 'buy out price' at the end may be more than you think. Unless you already know the value. If you do and you're happy with it then I can't see any reason why you can't mod.

What happens if you can't pay though? Do they take the car back? Might be problematic then.

You should be fine to modify it. Even if you were to hand it back, they don't really care about the fact it's modified all they care about is the value of the car.

Most of the cars just go straight to auction anyway.

why not just do their standard finance rather than ford options if you're sure that your not going hand it back and upgrade?

Well I'm currently 6 months through the 2 years, probably should have made that clear, is it possible to change at this stage?

Yeah you can change early. May cost you a little depending on how much is left on your account and how much they value the car at. Best bet is to go in and speak to them
