Shuddering While Accelerating

Hey all, so I've got a 2006 Focus Lx 1.6. The problem is that when I accelerate quite hard either from a stopped position or when driving and in a high gear the car seems to "shudder", then the engine warning light flashes till I slow down and very gently accelerate.

I've also in the past week developed a " knocking noise" that seems to either come from the front of the car like the suspension . This also comes when heavy acceleration or either going up a steep hill.

Any help will be appreciated.

    it could be the engine or gearbox mounts thats affected, though with that error as well, I suspect it may be that and something like a camshaft or other important sensor, its probably being vibrated around to the point it doesnt read properly.

    You need to get the error codes read, checking my guides in my signature for a tutorial on DIY Diagnosis, and if you can get all the error codes (best with a USB modified ELM and FORSCAN) then we could probably advise more.
