MPX309
I haven't had the car long, but if I open the door and rev the engine, as the RPM needle drops down I hear like a weird noise. . . Sounds abit like a baby horse? I can't explain it. Should that noise be there, it's coming from the engine.
Stoney871
Like a whinnying sound? Could be a split hose? Diesel or petrol? If diesel I'd say check the intercooler hose for damp spots which would point to damage or for crumpled areas where the hose may collapse under acceleration. Sort of, like a high pitched weird noise, again sort of like a horse, lol . . . but not quite. Also my exhaust now sounds abit more raspy? . . . Urm the car is still under warranty. Petrol. MPX309
I've worked out what it is now, some sort of air leak I think near the cat/manifold. . . I can ask ford if they'll have a look, but I don't know if they will.
