Disable Chime When Ignition On And Door Open?

Featured Replies

Is it possible to disable the chime you get when the ignition is on but the drivers door is open? I've tried the obvious thing of disabling both info and warning chimes in the menu but this made no difference. It's so annoying when using the car vac having it bonging away for ages!

Why do you need the ignition on when hovering the car?

12v car vac probably.

Yeh, for some reason the vac never works without the ignition on. Phone charger does though, unless I've already tried the vac in which case the phone doesn't work either. No idea what's going on there!

The rear socket doesn't need the ignition on

the fiesta has a rear socket? imma check this tomorrow morning

Yeh it's on the back of the centre console/armrest. And the vac doesn't work in that one either with the ignition off.

Sounds like you have a problem then, that one is always on, I use my vac with that one and no ignition
