Hi, So many different views on tyre pressures. I.ve had from 30 to 33psi, 33 to 35psi and 34 to 36psi depending on load on my Zetec 1.6 petrol. Is there a definate answer, understand they have to be done cold.

    I have the same car as you.

    Personally, for me the sticker pressures are a bit on the low/conservative side. I used to do 32 PSI on all four (when tyres warm), which was OK, but last time I increased it to 33 PSI (on Stoney's recommendation). The ride is a bit bumpier, but on the positive side it seems that there is better body control, and the car seems to coast ever so slightly better. All in all I am happy with it at the moment.

    So the answer is somewhat down to personal opinion.
