Ok I check my oil weekly and haven't noticed it going down. However tonight I was checking about the car and thought to have a look under it to see this (photos attached). I was letting it warm up to see if my gearbox was still making a noise, Its always had a slight noise but today there was a kind-off rotational noise that went away when the clutch was depressed (notices this in fifth gear but that is probably because the enhance noise was not covering it)

Im not much of a mechanic but Im guessing thats where the engine meets the gearbox?? My worry is that its the gearbox oil or something) I don't know because surly there is a clutch there?

You can see I don't know that much!!

Booked in at halfords auto centre to be checked tomorrow, I am over reacting but would rather be safe.

Just checked it after it had cooled down. Not oil but smells of petrol (only faintly)

Which is better than the alternative!

Can't really tell anything from the photos, but the noise you describe sounds like a worn clutch release bearing to me.

It is possible for it to make that noise for years, but I'd get the whole clutch changed as soon as possible to be on the safe side.

As far as I know the fiesta clutch is manual, not hydraulic, So a noisy release bearing will have nothing to do with a fluid leak.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it is hydraulic

They are hydraulic.

So Hanlords told me not to drive the car at all after having a look and recommend I leave it with them for up to 2 weeks. However ford told me after having a close look and inspection that it's the slave cylinder and not to worry about it until the next service as its a small leak. Saving £400+

I wouldn't use halfords if they were the last garage on the planet to be brutally honest. I done work for a guy last year who's car failed it's mot on front brakes at halfords. He supplied the parts (ebc drilled and grooved pads with discs for front and rear) and I fitted them. Halfords quoted him, £360 to supply and for front discs only! All in he spent £180!

To be honest I wouldn't normally use them, I have a service plan with ford with lots of benefits so not using ford would be dumb. Halfords is only round the corner so it was quicker to drop in today than drive to ford. However I am glad I went to ford and won't be going to halyards again!
