Pairing Bluetooth Headphones To Laptop.

Featured Replies

Had me some AUSDOM M07 BLUETOOTH V4 off amazon but won't pair up to laptop.

They work great off lead and they pair up to iPhone 5 and the quality of the sound is spot on.

I have updated Bluetooth drivers and all ok.

The PC will see the device but when it tries to get drivers is can't find any.

My Bluetooth on pc is built in ( broadcom bcm 2070 / 3.0+ hs usb device ) on windows 7.

Hi Mate,

sounds a strange one. When the bluetooth pairs up to the headphones, it should recognise them to be headphones and install / configure the device as an audio output.

I'll run you through it quick. Turn on headphones in search mode, click on bluetooth icon on screen of laptop, screen pops up. Hit the 'add device' tab and headphones are there and then it says ''installing drivers'' what pops up. Looks for drivers and then says no drivers found.

Sent e-mail to main firm and sent one back saying could be my drivers for bluetooth could be old but not. Could there be something blocking the search or is my bluetooth built in no good as it's old as these are V4.

My bluetooth is on my first page on here the make and model.

Make sure that your set up for Windows to search Win Update, if it can't find the drivers:

Open Control Panel, Go to System and Security then System.

On the left click Advanced System Settings.

Click the hardware tab and open device installation settings.

Make sure that it is either set to "Yes, do this automatically", or "No, let me choose" and "Install driver software from Windows Update if it is not found on my computer".

Choose the latter, if it is just currently set to "Never install"...

does it actually see the bluetooth headphones? I presume it does as it tries to find drivers?

Otherwise, go into device manager, find the headphones with the yellow exclamation mark, and right click, do a manual install of drivers, and set it up as an audio device.

You may find there is an installer for that particular brand of headphones on the tinterweb.

As for windows to install the driver it does look for them on the internet but i will look at those setting.

You get the box pop up and the thinking circle trying to locate them and you can do it on disc/location

or internet but still can't find them.

Will have a good look.
