Easy-Fuel Funnel

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Looking to buy an Easy-Fuel funnel but there seem to be plenty of different shapes (and prices!) about for different models. Obviously the diesel pump nozzle is a standard size so will any of them fit? Or am I missing something?

Preferably delivered from online store but will go to dealer if that's the cheapest option.

For a mk2.5 Focus diesel.

Cheers

Tom

they are all different shapes you will need the diesel

one I got mine from main dealer £1.95 plus vat just give them your reg

I know I need the diesel one rather than petrol, just can't work out why the rest of the funnel shape would make any difference.

That's a lot cheaper than I was expecting though!!

the filler neck on the cars are different sizes ie

petrol diesel so they match the pump size so you should not be able to put the wrong fuel

in if that make sense.

Yeah I know that lol, don't think I'm explaining myself well.

Diesel nozzle is fatter so you can't put diesel in a petrol anyway (so easy fuel on petrols seems a little pointless lol).

But after the nozzle part which is either petrol size or diesel size, why should the top part be a different shape? Would make sense for Ford to make all the Diesel ones for every model the same shape surely? But they aren't, for example there's a Diesel Focus one on ebay that reckons it won't fit any other Focus than Mk3...but I don't see how that can be right?

I've only no the two types but because there cheep at main dealer

I have never looked on ebay I will take a look sometime

perhaps the length is different, diameter cant be but length might, I cant see it would make any difference tho, fuel pumps all the same length too

Yeah it's weird.:-/

Though as Derek says they're so cheap from the MD maybe I'll just go there and get the right one lol.

they are different coloured funnels too I thinks.

go to the dealer as ive seen them for around £10 on ebay!
