Hi I am a new member, I have a 52 Fiesta 1.6 Ghia that I have had from new (import) also I have a 56 1.4 Diesel. The question I want to ask is the 1.6 has a towbar fitted and I want to put it on the 1.4. Now would the wiring for the electrics be the same on both cars or will I have to take it to the garage?.

Any help will be appreash

    wiring harnesses differ for petrol and diesel.

    The wiring between the 52 plate and 56 plate wont be the same colours, if it was around the same year you could do it but they are totally different cars to each other.
