jeebowhite
So, I'm wondering if a condition I am about to mention is a rare condition, affecting only a few people in the UK, or if in actual fact, its more common than we are led to believe. The deadly WYIM WMIM virus! Its worse than Ebola, Dog Flu, Cat Flu, Bird Flu, Man Flu and Swine Flu combined. Perhaps you will have heard of it by its more common notation, as my wife says "What's Your's is Mine (and) Whats Mine Is Mine". I am not sure if its a combination of Marriage and childbirth that breads this awful virus, but I have heard it spreads quite well. Just wondering if any of you have a partner who suffers this incredibly parasitic condition? Seems there are a few people in the office who suffer it, seems most of them where fine until the above two noted life events occurred, after that it was a case of stand back and wait.... MattDRX
I don't really have that, although mine does suffer from IDS or "indirect Delegation Syndrome" for instance she'll go and buy something for the house and says " this will be nice for us to do" or "we need this" and other classics like "let's get this done on the weekend" basically we us married men get used as work mules, they find the work and then hand it over to us post purchase and miraculously lose the receipts to eliminate the possibility of me returning it. She bought a dish washer a few months ago, I hate them personally, never fill it up tbh, and I got "this will be easy to fit" well it certainly wasn't, there was no spare outlet under the sink, no waste connection on the pipes and to top it all off it was about 1CM too deep, I like things to fit flush so it was chucked in the back of the old G Wagen and after arguing with Currys for about 43mins it was refunded. "let's redecorate, Whilst I am at work" will be the next one I get lol Mates wife has it too, she bought a dog and told him "it will be nice to take him for walks" she has never taken it for a walk 5 years later.
alexp999
There is a strain of it down here I have heard of, WYIM WMMO. "What's Your's Is Mine (and) What's Mine's Me (My) Own". Very similar, probably evolved from the same ancestral virus... lol. I think it is related to the CGAR, "Can't Get Anything Right", and the DDAID DAIS, "Don't Do As I Do, Do As I Say" viruses.
Stoney871
My wife suffers from SAD (Spacial Awareness Deficiency). She sees new furniture and goes "That will look good in the bedroom" then looks to me as if I can bend space-time and manipulate the 4th dimension with my mind. When I tell her it won't fit and even prove it via correct application of a tape measure (and once even a laser measurer) She still blindly insists it will fit. 3 months or so later she'll do exactly the same thing without comprehending that the room hasn't mysteriously reconfigured itself in the meantime. It's a house not a smeggin' tardis.
jeebowhite
Haha I'm noticing a pattern so far, these conditions all seem to affect woman. I thought it was just the wyim wmim virus but it sounds like we have epidemics everywhere!
Philf1
Mine suffers from ICMTIBAWADBYC syndrome (I can't make tea I've been at work all day, but you can) what and I haven't? Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC mobile app
jeebowhite
haha, I have heard of that one, though I heard its much simpler abbreviation, either CBA or CBF, i'm sure neither require elaboration.
