Hello.

I have a ford focus 1.6 2003, I am wanting to remove the the complete fan housing unit from behind the glove box, as it set on fire on Monday. I have no idea how to to remove the complete unit.

    It might be easier to buy or hire from the library a Haynes manual so you will have instructions with diagrams too to aid removal. If you buy one for around £15 at least then you will have it to hand for any future repairs. :)

    Yes I agree with WES180, them haynes always come in handy. Just out of interest though, when you say it set on fire, was it flames or did it get so hot it just melted?
