Stereo remote

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I recently got a 2001 Focus 1.8 Ghia with a 6000 CD stereo. Apparently (acording to the dealer) when Ford upgraded the model to the 6000 CD player it cancels out the stalk remote on the steering wheel.

Ive had a look behind the stereo to see if there are any unplugged cables or sockets. There are two free sockets but I have no idea if they are for the remote.

I'm basically trying to find out if I go by a multistalk adapter from halfords is it going to solve my problem or where can I find out what the free sockets on the back of the stereo are meant for.

Hope to hear from someone soon.
