Query About My New Fiesta Titanium.

Featured Replies

I picked up my new Fiesta Titanium Ecoboost on Friday and I love it! It is everything I was hoping for but after reading the brochure it says there should be a perimeter alarm on it. Everything else is there but no alarm!

I have checked but it is definately not there. It's not a deal breaker for me but it would have been a nice thing to have.

Thought I would check here before making a fool of myself going back to the dealer.

It's just the basic alarm of doors, boot or bonnet being opened. I think the name is confusing and I had same thoughts. It has no inside movement detector or anything.

It might also work by extreme noise of glass breaking but haven't tested this.

Leave your window open and single lock your car. Wait a couple mins. Reach in and open door. It sounds the horn. Press remote door open to stop it.

Hope the horn isn't accessible from below as would be pretty easy to silence otherwise.

Thanks for the reply I was getting confused between perimeter alarm and parking sensors.

I would have made a fool of myself going back so thanks again!
