Mountune Secondary Induction Hose

Featured Replies

Hi,
I have been fitting my Mountune Induction system today but the secondary induction hose has got me stuck. The hose fits and is in place but the small breather pipe (i think) that locks onto the metal insert will not fit correctly. Has anyone come across this issue before or am I just making a novice mistake. I have taken the hose back off and tried to fit the pipe but it will not "Click" into place, it just pulls back out. Measuring off the ford plastic one I would say there is no internal recess for it to fit into, Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Mark

It's a bugger to get on mark. Take the breather pipe off the car then fit it the the secondary induction pipe also off the car. It will then click into place.

Many thanks Willy, It did fit as you said. I was scared of it breaking on a sunday afternoon knowing I need it for work in the morning, Just followed your guide also to fit the Engine Cover, although I did trim a bit of it from the side cause it felt too close to the primary induction hose, Did you have to do that also? I couldn't see that part on your picture.

When I put the engine cover info up I didn't alter it but have cut a bit out since then.

I thought it was best too, the hose was going to be trapped to tight and I would guess rub through there. Thanks again. Love hearing the recirculation valve sound inside with the windows up now.
