Hi all,

I'm looking for help (as always) in trying to source/clarify details on a set of roof bars.

I'm looking for the same set of roof/cross bars for my mk3 focus the same as "mayo10uk" has fitted in this thread -

I've searched the Web using the part no given by mayo10uk (1767840) but the info/photos on sites differs from the ones in his post.

I have also tried several ford supplier websites and asked the question "do they attach using the pre existing holes inside the door frame?" but no one seems to know what I'm going on about.

Was hoping someone on here might work at Ford & could possibly clarify the part number of the bars I'm after on the Ford database?

Any help appreciated, thanks in advance

    The holes you see are locators and it clamps to the top of the roof bar, on the rubber mounts.

    I also brought 2 new rubber profile strips for Thule roof bars they fit the Ford bars, as I didn't want to cut the OE ones because if I sell the bars later on I will have them like new. I had to cut profile for the bars as i use T track blots to secure the cycle racks.
