Hi,

On my Zetec underneath the windows there are chrome pieces of trim that run along the bottom of the window from front to back.

Does anybody know if you can swap them out for the black coloured pieces of trim, not sure if they're plastic or not?

As said above the best method is to get the wrapped black. You then also have a choice of mat, satin or gloss black instead of just plastic or rubber.

And I guess that would allow them to be returned back to standard in the future

That's correct all you need is a heat gun or hair dryer to warm them up then you can just peel them off.

I've had mine wrapped in gloss black by a friend, it's a much cheaper way because just for the door strip its £65!!

Have them wrapped. Got the chrome front grill, window sill and boot chrome wrapped for about £60 in East London.
