Quick Question!!

Featured Replies

Just a qucik question I have 2 new drums of castrol magnatec 5w30 A1 at home waiting for this years service, I used this last year as well and am very pleased with it.

My question is I have come across Castrol Magnatec proffesional A5 and want to know is ot worth buying this instead or just stick with what I already have since I have 2 drums already here?

Thanks

i'd stick to what you have personally. there is nothing wrong with it and it will do the job perfectly fine. like the rest of us you have seen a better product and felt the urge to improve what you have!

The A1 is what ford recommend, i would use those up first and then you can get the A5 later

The A5 is approved for Ford WSS-M2C913-D which is a spec higher than what we need in our cars (WSS-M2C913-C)

Thanks guys I will stick with what I have and maybe next year when buying oil I might try the "Professional A5" or just stick with the "A1". Price dependinf at the time lol!
