Online Cherished Plate Removal

I have just removed my cherished plate via the new online service, it took me less than 60 seconds, paid £80 and was issued with Cert number and Registration to place on the car, which I can do immediately as it's the same number as I removed from the car.

Perfect real fast service, Well done GOV.

Have to wait for new documents, but that is a formality, I can now go out and change the plates and inform insurance company. :wub:

    Yes Philf1, top new service, I was expecting to at least have to wait for the documents to arrive, last time I did it, it took three weeks and with a drive over to the DVLA to put the late on this car, once the documents arrived. Very fast service indeed.

    I could if I needed to transfer it direct instantly onto another car if I wanted.
