Broken Side Light Socket.....

Featured Replies

So i decided to replace my side light on my 2010 ford focus zetec s with led's, when i went to remove the side light sockets one came out fine but the other snapped.

To expand on that, what i mean is the plastic tab that is used to remove them snapped, what's the best way to remove that socket now? also does anyone know where i could source a replacement one. I can't seem to find anything on ebay and all my searches just keep popping up with a whole headlight unit...

I just went to a scrapyard cut one off to be honest its only a 10 min Job to rewire it ... Try on eBay sidelight holder

i know the exact bit you mean-

i have done an extensive dig through Microcat and can't find the part listed seperately so unfortunately it must be only available with a full headlight unit.

May be worth digging around a couple of breakers yards.

poor design and quality of materials used by Ford
