hi just a quick question on tyres i have 225/55/16 on the rear and 205/55/16 on the front will i be ok to put same size as the rear on the front

    why do you have 225 on the rear? if they are the stock tyres they should be 205/55/16 on all 4

    i dunno why there different but i have just replaced one of the rears so can the fronts go the same or not

    I would definitely expect all 4 x tyres to be the same size, to my knowledge it's only high end/more powerful cars that have wider tyres on the reason such as porsche or Honda S2000 for example.

    I could be totally wrong (usually I am , ask the wife ☺) but would of thought you'd be ok with a full set of 225/55/16.

    That said double check with someone in the trade etc as I know incorrect tyres are one of the first things insurance companies like to look at.

    sorry but i think 205/55/16 is the tyre you should order. thats the size for the OEM 16" alloys

    probably fit ok, but remember it will be a taller tyre so your speedo will be reading incorrectly

    nope, 55% of 205 is not the same 55% of 225

    its not alot but take that into account when driving through speed cameras, only around 2mph difference,
