hi there looking for a bit help had a car mechanic i always use to fit new timing belt kit as well as a new water pump and a new set of spark plugs . but cant get car to start again after these jobs have been done. he.s had it on the diagnostic but finds no error codes . but he reckons its some thing to do with the main key needing re programed. but not sure could any one help with this thanks

    Does the immobilisor light flash when you switch the ignition on? If not, then it's not the key. Is everything that should be plugged in in the engine bay plugged in? All plugs connected? TIMING SET CORRECTLY? Are all of the belts tensioned?
