Hi,

Looking to change my steering wheel to a Ford Mondeo MK3 Ghia type. Will it be a straight swap and airbags still work?

    Hi Lewis,

    My advise from previous experience is;

    Nothing from a mondeo is cross functional with any other model except mondeo,

    Id fit a removable boss kit with a sports steering wheel,

    This way you can pop the wheel off when parked,

    Put it on your key chain ;)

    To remove wheel:

    Disconnect battery,

    Remove airbag,

    Mark top centre tooth on steering column

    Remove centre nut completly,

    Put centre nut back on by hand two rotations,

    Pull out steering wheel,

    Remove nut,

    Remove steering wheel.

    Please dont make me laugh i have a fractured pelvis,

    The steering wheel would fit but airbag wouldnt work,
