Fusion 1.6 Automaic

Featured Replies

My friend as had a jazz 1.4 automatic for a while now and up and till recently she as never had any problems with it. She as been saving for a while now and as much as she would love to stay with a jazz there just to much for her budget. Today while getting petrol from a garage by hers she noticed a fusion and thought she would go and have a look at it. She seems to like it and just wanted to know was it worth it and what should she look out for also how reliable are they

Its a

2007

1.6 automatic

48k on the clock

and they want £2800 for it

Also she is used to a smaller engine and is not sure on the cost of running a 1.6 engine

Sorry that was meant to say Automatic

Assuming that the Fusion uses the same 1.6 Zetec engine and auto transmission as the Mk2 Focus, they are reasonably fine. A bit outdated, so don't expect extremely high MPG (you probably won't get the economy of the Jazz), but it's tried and tested so reliable.

Probobly this reply is now a bit late but I have a Fusion 1.6 2004 Automatic. Its great, never let me down in the two years I have had it. Having said that I have replaced the battery and water pump. Its done 50000 miles. Its only downside for me is the 33mpg.
