So tonight at work a mate couldn’t wait to show off his new 1.6 TDCI Focus Zetec estate, I must say it’s very nice & has me questioning why I didn’t opt for the extra space.

Anyhow while I was giving it the once over I noticed that the passenger side rear quarter window has 2 x horizontal lines/elements running through it.

We checked the other side but this looks like a standard window with no lines/elements, when I asked my mate said he'd never even noticed, does anyone know why the windows are differnt?

I was thinking possibly -

1. That this window is heated, giving help with visibility when looking over your left

shoulder/reversing due to the size of the vehicle?

2. Both windows are supposed to be the same but one has been replaced in the past?
