Was not a bad drive home earlier with this in front of me

I had the pleasure of actually driving a Ferrari at Knockhill racing circuit last weekend ...... I'm STILL grinning!

Bet it was a brilliant experience we've actually got a track in our town that does it, well used to don't know if they still do it

it just doesn't seem to want to stop accelerating in whatever gear it's in! The sound you hear from the pits is the sound you hear inside the car, I drove an Aston Martin vantage last year but the Ferrari topped that!

Its 10 years since I drove a Ferrari on a track day. It was a Ferrari 360 Spider in navy blue and it was very fast indeed (proper manual box too) but I didn't realise we were going so fast.

The instructor said we hit 150mph on a stretch that felt like 70 to me lol! He awarded me 97 points out of 100 and said I did so well because I listened to him. He said they get too many guys who turn up thinking they are driving gods because they do wheel spins in their saxo's back home and that they know better than the instructors. They basically end up with much lower scores as a result!

A few years back I also did a track day in an Aston Martin DB9 (flappy paddle box) and that was also very fast but also refined. On the same day, I was taken for a high speed passenger ride in a supercharged Ariel Atom with a pro racing driver at the wheel and nothing prepares you for the acceleration and g-force of the thing. It is an ironing board with wheels, an engine and seats basically lol!

Just spent a week in Cornwall, that's over 700 miles round trip (from Leeds) and the most interesting car I saw was this Jaguar F-Type when I was almost home,

saw the back end of an Aston Martin but it was just the Rapide, didn't see a single Police car either, a rather boring 13 hours road time tbh.

The most amazing thing about this Jag was how carefully it was being driven, only doing 45 in the 50 Zone,

I'm guessing someone is on 11 points and doesn't want to lose driving privileges on their new toy lol.

I do like the jaguar f type, one of the nicest sounding cars out there. The ferrari o followed was driving very carefully aswell I actually overtook him without breaking the speed limit

saw a few nice cars at goodwood's festival of speed on sunday, and the cars inside wernt bad either.

for info they have a super car carpark for the punters sorry wealthy,JUST WOW. you name it,it was there.
