So we've just been to our local friendly Ford dealer crunched some numbers and ordered a brand new Zetec S 140 in red with privacy glass.

So that's the 3rd Fiesta that will be on the drive in red, white and blue will be our personal Italian job.

Has to be a factory build so 8-12 weeks till delivery.

She's ever so slightly excited as this will be her first brand new car.

    I'd hate to wait that long, took me 3 weeks to get mine and that was long enough.

    The same car I have - it is a very nice car to drive and easy to live with day to day.

    Just realised you can get a standard Zetec S with a 140 PS engine now. Mine's 125 PS and I bought just before the special editions came out with their 140 PS engines. Wasn't even annoyed as I really don't like the look of the red/black editions, especially the black as it looks like it's wearing lipstick on its grill.

    But now I see it's in standard Zetec S', ahhhhh, bit jealous.

    But then I notice that the 135PS Mountune upgrade to the 125 actually beats the 0 to 60 time of the standard 140 PS engine.

    ... Food for thought! :D

    She got the call from the dealer today. Car is being delivered on Monday for pick up Wedsnesday. Watch this space for the Italian Job style photos!

    If you get the chassis number from dealer you can watch when its built via etis ford ! It may jumble around a bit with the dates but it won't be far out. Good luck with the new car

    It's a zetec s 140 not a red/black edition

    Pretty nippy I'm very impressed with the performance drives very well. And all out of a 1 litre 3 cylinder engine, amazing
