Lowering Advice

Featured Replies

Hi guys looking at lowering my Ford Fiesta mk7 metal. I'm unsure weather to get the standard 30mm eibachs directly from ford or the redline ones from pumaspeed which lower the front 35mm and rear 45mm but worried that might be abit too low for my shocks. any help would be great thanks

Not a Fez, but I fitted Eibachs to my Mondeo ST. That was low enough for me. Speed bumps are a nightmare, the smallest ramp caused minor scraping and the garage I went to for de-cat couldn't get it on his lift! LOL

I have the 30mm Eibachs on my fiesta and the front bumper rubs sometimes in multistory carparks, speed bumps are fine aslong as they aren't too big.

I couldn't go any lower as i load it up a lot for work and when I DJ.

Remember I have a Zetec S with the front lip so you could probably go lower without many issues.

The metal I think is lower than a normal Zetec S anyway so lowering it another 35mm may cause you problems depending what you use the car for and where you drive.
