I have just had the moto g dual sim 2nd gen and is spot on.

Stock text app is fine but dull in color and no character count when you text ( or i'm missing something)

Got Textra which is amazing but still no characters count when you write a text.

Is there something i'm missing in the setting........On LOLLIPOP 5.1.2.

    Found the count on Textra now so will try it,pops up after first line,it says second line but first on mine.

    Yes tried a few but i like Textra for the icons and color setting and there are loads of other little stuff to mess with.

    The stock app for text it says you won't get a count untill you get 20 or below but i do want to know how

    many i have left so i can see what to write,can anyone confirm this as only gone onto this phone in last

    2 days and not sent long messages.
