Front Brake

Featured Replies

I'm going to replace the pads on my wife's 2008 1.3 fusion this Friday. I did the pads on my 2006 C Max few weeks ago.

my question is, is it a normal bolt to remove the calliper or like the C Max a recessed hex head bolt?

thanks in advance

You will need a 7mm hex key to remove the caliper guide pins.

Thanks

I watched a video where the bloke removed the entire calliper from the mounting bracket.

If I can't find a 7mm I will attempt to do it the other way

Took the entire Calliper off in the end, two 14mm bolts.

I decided to do the discs as I'd left the pads a little longer than I should have and they were starting to grind.

Discs are a lot cheaper than I thought so why not

Biggest pain was actually getting the back pad into the piston!
