Squeeling noise when full locked to the left

Hi all i have a fiesta on a 51 reg 2001 1.3 endura e engine when i full lock to the left i hear like a squeeling noise but when i full lock to the right i don't hear notthing so just wondering what could this be. i have phoned up my local garage and he said its normal on the fiesta when on full lock can this be true thanks alan.

    Might simply be the PAS Belt under strain. I believe that it winds around many pullys ( Waterpump, pas, etc).

    I had a 98 escort which did the same and my mechanic friend said it was the belt and it needed changing. Sold it before i did so can't say if true or not ?

    i get like a creaking noise when its on full lock to the right....the cars on 55 plte and its had the a new water pump and all rest of the only noticed this quite recently......the creaking gets more noticable whn you drive on full like to the right...its like someones opening a rusted door

    is your any similar

    im getting all sorts of weird creeks and knocks from rear left espcially when going over humps wonder what it is...

    Yeh its like a rusted door being open but ive had my tracking done the other day and its seems to stoped but the man in the garage said my tracking was way out so the noise might of been that i don't know.

    That sounds about right it must me my tracking because the car sialso pulling bit its pulling towards the left and the noise is coming from right will have to inspect further
