That's the exact fault in video that mine had luckilyI got it all replaced under warranty now I don't know wither to fit new updated part good video m8

I just did it there, dead easy, no risk at all.

Open bonnet, pop off the air deflector that covers the lock, you will see two 10mm bolts holding the lock on, remove both

Behind the lock you will see two coolant hoses, unclip them at the lock to give you more room

The lock is further held on by two friction pins, one on either side, slowly push the lock away from you,, the white cylinder will stay where it is

The lock will pop off the pins revealing the little bugger poking out of the white cylinder

Pair of pliers to pull it out.

I couldn't get mine to sit in the white cylinder without drooping down so Put the new updated white bit in to the lock, doesn't matter about rotation.

Put lock back in to place onto he friction pins.

Do both bolts up and test by pushing a screw driver down in to the lock ensuring both locks engage try your key and job done.

note that it feels a little stiffer on the turn to the right and doesn't spring back, I suspect a bit of grease on the white bit or a smidgen sanded off the end would fix that. To be honest I'm leaving it as is. I have taken some pics if anyone wants to see them

Its a stupid design but isn't as scary as everyone believes, id have no problems taking it all off now I've seen it in action, esp with this new white bit that looks pretty fool proof

I got grill cheaper on amazon than eBay m8

£999 usually just means there out of stock at the mo saves them doing a new listing .

lower Grill is fitted, just waiting for the rain to stop to get the upper grill installed, I'm going to paint my DRL fog surrounds as well, don't suppose anyone has a good guide on painting plastic properly? to make them as high gloss as the grills...? and not flake to bits

another tip before put grill on is to buy the extended bonnet lock catch clip, save thr misery of bonnet not opening happened to me after fit the grill you putting on

I cant use their surrounds as ive got DRLs, so itll need to be painted

as for the bonnet lock fix :D way ahead of you, did that months ago, both grills are fitted

Cheers, defo looks heaps better than stock, just need to work out how to prime and paint those surrounds, there has to be a good way of doing it that wont flake off or easily get chipped.

All that's missing on the front end is a nice wee ZS skirt / splitter that'll have to wait until some maintenance gets taken care of tho.

Bushes and timing belts.... some new Eibach springs :)

keep eye out on ebay or local salvage mite get lucky with full zs kit, when painting sure can get painted locally for problies as cheap as you would pay for materials, wont harm taking of and not having any on few day or 2
