Car Valueation

Any help and or advice much appreciated. I need a September 2010 copy
of Glass's used car price guide or a verifiable alternative.

My gorgeous, phenomenally quick, 1998 Escort Si was crashed into by a
massive Veolia, wheelie bin lorry in September 2010. Veolia admitted liability. I was insured fully comprehensive with Direct Line, who have been bullying me and threatened me with "If I don't accept £500 cash in lieu they will only give me £600 and take it away from me and dispose of it"!

Direct Line say they used Glass's Car price Guide to give this very low value for my Si. However, I can not get hold of a September 2010 Glass's guide and Glass's want £110 to supply an
equivalent certificate.

Any helpful suggestions much appreciated.

Almost 5 years for an insurance claim?

Direct Line see a obsolete old banger hence the low valuation (no offence meant) you need a valuation from a car club proving it is worth more.
