This is just a random post about about barometers - more accurately, how much a Precision Aneroid Barometer (Mk2) costs.

We need them for flying operations - so pilots can check their altimeters and correct them for the surface pressure.

Anywhoo...I've just been told how much one costs (got one to send back to the Met Office - it's faulty).

Here's a pic...have a guess how much they cost...
