Is Buying Online Secure (not Ebay)

Featured Replies

What i mean is where you go onto a secure top site (vodafone) say for a phone.

Either

Talk to a person in a chat box direct and give card details.

Or fill in form on the site where you give same details.

Look on your task bar for the padlock sign, if it's there it's a secure website. The likes of Vodafone will be ok.

As long as you practice due diligence online, not looking at dodgy pron, download dodgy software and have decent antivirus, shopping online is safe enough. Always look for the 'https' at beginning of the web address, and if in doubt double-check the web address, confirm it is genuine.
