Mk 7 New Bumper And Trim Required

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am on the look out for a new (not necessarily brand New) front bumper and chrome trim after mine were cracked beyond repair.

Has anyone got any experience/advice in terms of sourcing these?

I have been quoted up to £800 for original brand new ford parts and £200 for insurance approved custom built parts which includes spraying from a breakers yard who source new parts also.

Any advice/tips would be highly appreciated!

Thanks,

Steve

£800 seems a lot, difficult to know though without knowing exactly what needs replacing.

eBay is the obvious place, should be able to find them in your colour, genuine parts will always fit better than pattern parts.

These are ford parts, you can use the part numbers to order through your local dealer and save on postage, bumpers come prepainted.
