Teething Ring Or 4 Spoke Steering Wheel?

Featured Replies

To me;
This looks like a 4 Spoke leather steering wheel with Cruise Control perhaps I'm going crazy?

Now to Victoria and my 10 months old son this is apparently a teething ring,
As Victoria sat quite happily in the drivers seat of my focus today while our son sat on her lap right in front of her eyes and chewed away on the steering wheel.

How much does a replacement 4 Spoke steering wheel cost to replace
compared to going to Tesco and purchasing a teething ring
or
even reacing in to the back seat to obtain the teething ring which he already owns.

Seriously like..!!

Here's the rear door from carelessly taking in and out the carry Cott

Not to mention the corresponding scratch on the putter body panel again from carelessly taking out the carry cot

And this is our third child not like it hasn't been done before
I've spent 19k on modifications to the car and it's becoming wrecked by a woman

already did,

I put 25 litres fuel in tank yesterday

and give her the car today to go shopping as well as providing an additional 300 for a forward facing child seat of her choice

the car does 72MPG!

then 8 hours later i get greeted with a chewed up steering wheel and an empty fuel tank on collection from work today

and I mean empty it was displaying 0km red line

i had to coast the clutch to fingers crossed get to fuel station but as long as it got her where she needed to go it was all good.

the joys of being married with kids.

i bought a scratch and dent free imaculate mazda 3 mps 2 years ago and within a week of having it , the 10yr old step daughter managed to drag here scooter along the 2 n/s doors causing a deep scratch all way along, denied it until found the paint of my car built up on her scooter handle.

cost me £520 to get back to the original condition

live and learn .lol

suppose I'm lucky she didn't fill it with petrol

or crash it in to a wall

could always be worse

When my kids were younger I had a Accord, which I intentionally didn't overly care for, so when the kids made a mess/scratched the paint/ran their nails all over the door card (I did get cross about that) I wasn't too bothered. They have to be more careful now I have the Focus, but so far I have had mud dragged in, seat needs deep cleaning due to child soaked in god knows what, it is hard to hide the fury but kids will be kids!

My wifey fortunately only has an Automatic licence. I may have deliberately got a manual due to this.

£19k on mods!? Wow!

A new steering wheel and touch up pen is nothing compared to that. :P

The door cards are rubbish though, scratch so easily, I bought a new aerial pole, too much crap in the boot so put it across the back seat...light ally pole has taken a gouge out of my rear door card! Looks like they bought plastics from Peugeot as well as engines.

Clear protective film for the doors and a Hannibal Lechter mask for the wee lad.

If it'll make you feel better I'll post a photo later of the damage Mrs P did to my wrap within a week of getting it done!

Had the same problem with my Mrs and our spawn messing up my car so I bought her a Renault Scenic and told her never to darken the doorway of my car ever again. Her car is disgusting, knee deep in crumbs and toys and smells faintly of cabbage.

She did this with a ring. She's paying for it be re-wrapped !

Divorce court is the sensible option here. Will save you a fortune in the long run. Plus think of all that peace and quiet.

Tell you what though. It could have been worse. Your baby could have been sinking his gums with the few teeth he has into you. by the looks of the steering wheel he would have drawn blood instantly :D
