sorry not been on as much as i would like to but i have been working A LOT!!

but i have noticed something about being busy all the time i always have time to go onto a facebook car group (eg. fiestamk7.co.uk, fiestaownersclub - scotland, Mk7 parts etc etc)

................... lots of help there and fun too!

the main factor for this is the fact its more instant i seen member from here on there and even members that haven't been on here in a while is on there every day etc

What about fordownersclub group pages etc? to keep up with momentum of well our car Life haha

main issue with this is the fact some people dont have facebook and it may decrease activity on the forums but just guessing to be honest

what you all think ?

there is a foc group on the book of faces! I dont tend to visit it much as I am normally only using my phone for fb and then just respond when I see a notifiaction. But yeah, there is a FOC community on there!

Someone my wife worked with tried dropping her in the smelly stuff over something she re-posted on facebook.

Luckily her management saw sense and spotted that it was a thinly veiled excuse to undermine my wife.

The person was bitter that my wife was promoted over her (bear in mind my wife has been there 11 years and the other person only 9 months but thinks that she deserves every promotion going).

Facebook is full of nasty, backstabbing people that will use anything you post against you.

I avoid it like the plague and will never ever have a facebook account.

I must be lucky as I've had never had any issues

I'm also an ex Facebook user, but I still have an account which I use for Messenger. I've barely been on the actual Facebook site in many years though.

Add another one to the 'no Facebookers' club. Just don't get people's obsession with it. Sorry OP, but I hate FB with a passion.

FB,i have it but never used,vidoes that some people put on just turned me off it.

I have one of those things called a phone to contact friends :)

See I've not got obsession with it in fact I am barely on it unless in browsing the Ford pages for meeting or buying parts from people

For instance I got the st rear and end caps for £140 and when a didn't want them I sold them on there with in one day of putting on .... Also sold my old air intake on there too within seconds

It's just more responsive that's all

And people are having meets in local areas too

Fb isn't all bad 2bh

I talk to members of here on fb too and only met them through here and have good chats with them like

Vito, Lee, Matt, Nathan and others too

I have fb but 9 times out if 10 I don't use it till someone contacts me on it, or if I want to rant lol

For me it's good because I'm chaotically busy, I'm awake at 7 with kids, get them ready for school then out to work for 8 and don't get back till 7 and then got to sort kids and do housework blah blah.

It's good for either unimportant things or just general picture sharing and casual catching up.
