This may be a little long as a few things i would like to know.

Google has a nice few photo apps/storage (Photos / Drive / picasa 3 )

I have Photos and Drive in my phone,in photos i have NOT got the back up/sync on.

Drive does the back up to my p.c which i want so the thing is ??

1....Do i need Photos and Drive working as all i want is pictures to go to p.c (can turn back up on in photos)

and get rid of the Drive app.

2....Do these 2 do the same thing as they look like they do as seems like just photos will back up to p.c.

if i turn it on ( back up / sync )

3....Picasa 3 is not in my phone but on p.c,where are these pictures on my p.c as i did a full format

and put free windows 10 in on the free up grade and went into picasa and pics there from ages.

Hope this makes sense as with Google there are loads of stuff,these are the main 3 i need help on.

By the way i do have Photo Bucket but wanted one of these running so i can have 2 going.

Google drive I believe you can customise the destination folder to be backed up, so you can make that the update...

for all intents and purposes - point it at a folder, it copies it to a server. Depending on how the photo app works, If its like google - you add, its copied, you delete - its deleted in both places... (I made a big mistake and learned that the hard way - more to the point, its instant, and that is evil!!!)

They probably were stored to onedrive!

Cheers for the reply,as for Picasa they must be somewhere on the pictures i put in after my restore like in

folders that are in folders.

I have photo bucket for my main/auto back up and google drive as a manual back up if i want to.

To just view my photos i just use the photo app as you can edit it and stuff and then manual back up if needed.
