I'm looking to install some parking sensors on a ford fusion 02 plate, but im struggling to find the reverse wire if someone could help me out with the light wiring please

Green/orange, on left side

my car has had a towbar installed ( before i purchased it ) when i went to do a voltage check to see which had power in reverse the green/ orange was showing 0.1/0.2 is that normal ?

Nope, should be 12v , I assume the reverse lights work?

on the left side it is working but right side isnt

So are you checking for feed on left or right side of car?

both sides were only showing 0.1/0.2 but ideally left

Thats a mess! Reverse wires shouldnt be tapped into on 12n tow bar wiring, the colour I said was for left side, took that info from parking sensor wiring diagrams from xvision, will check ford diagrams next to make sure of colours.

Nope, it should be and will be 12v if the reverse light works, cant not be or bulb wont iluminate

just gave it a good whack and hey presto 12 v switchable on and off !!! thanks very much for the help and reassurance that it is the orange/green wire
