Java problem twice of non starting I have thought when gnome had got hot

First time drove 4 hours and stopped and would not start just click on dashboard. Went inside for 30 mins and it started

My worry as I drive long distance every day is that it won't start after two hour journey

Interested to hear any thoughts

Car has done 18800 miles in last two years and does often sound tinny sometimes and often chugging when stationary

that sounds like a crankshaft sensor to me... but without any error codes its hard to say that reliably.

I strongly recommend the ELM327 modified cable and FORSCAN for the best results.

Mine is similiar to yours I have a problem 2018 2.0 Diesel 42,000 miles when you hit the start button engine and engine labors in Limp mode half firing so to speak Steering Locked engine symbol  on in dash Stop/Start button flashing green and then after 4/5 attempts later it fires normally steering unlocks any ideas had to replace my Starter Motor last because Ford said it was overheating I first reported the problem in 2021 to Ford Cork City who said there was nothing wrong with it's been happening ever since
