Bluetooth Not Working

Featured Replies

hi all

im Eddie just joined the group. I have just got my new for fiesta ztec. I thought I had blue tooth working ok as it played my music. able to phone home. now all of a sudden I cant access blue tooth. it simply wont work. I cant even see it in my mobile phone which is a Samsung s4 . I tried to do a full reset on phone and also a master reset on car. it will not let me add phone .

has anyone any idea what to do here . someone said that I should disconnect battery. but why should I have to do that. I am going to garage to see what they can do but if anyone can help please do.

thanks

Eddie

Hi welcome along for a start but I'd be interested in any solutions with this, as mine has recently started playing up as well. Phones not even a month old so it's not that.

pulling the fuse for ford sync (while the car is off) and putting it in back worked for me. you'll have to consult your handbook (mine isn't on hand)

the fusebox is in the glove box, it's easily removable

Ive had many problems with my usb and bluetooth. Everytime I've disconnected the negative on the battery for 10mins. Then re connected, touch wood all problems have been fixed by this.

Pulling fuses didn't work for me.
