Facebook Scam

Featured Replies

I was recently '' befriended '' by a certain '' Leverett Patricia '' who claims to work for Facebook . . . although I was immediately suspicious I accepted the request & as I anticipated today an online chat began & guess what ? !

I've won $600,000 in a random e-mail draw - yippee for me

Mr '' Zukerburg '' ( note the incorrect spelling ) has personally authorised my payment - it gets better !

I had a lot of fun winding this idiot up - but beware of this Facebook scam, which I will be contacting Mr Zuckerberg about.

Well done mate, great win there

I would have told her to pay it to my paypal account

The hilarious thing was that she claimed to work for Facebook & only had 21 '' friends '' ha ha ha !

Profile reported so hopefully one less idiot on the loose

makes you wonder if the " book " really give a damn about who are members when you get scamming emails

Congratulations! I never win anything!

you get loads of dodgy emails the now ! I just delete them no point in opening them :) x

I had a good laugh at this one recently. Not only is it ridiculously obvious, there were a fair few people posting comments warning others not to believe it because they'd had their bank account cleared out.

You really do have to be a special kind of stupid to fall for these.

^^ these idiots need locking up ^^

Indeed. If you can't pass the tests or have been banned there's a very good reason for it. Idiots like this just put the rest of us in danger.

I would have had that one to the police...

Really? I know I can be trusted so I'm not really bothered. Other people could be offended by that statement though.
