Well I bought (still waiting) a ford logo puddle light for the door mirrors, and wanted some advice on fitting them.

What do I need and is it a 'straight swap' ?

    Had a similar product on my old car. I don't know if they would be any good as a puddle light as mine were pretty dim and they were mounted right on the bottom of the door

    Yeah, don't really want to pull the door apart really, think they would look the bees knees in the mirrors ;)

    Your puddle lights in the mirrors are LED, if you pull them apart and aftermarket fit to them they will be void of warranty. Plus you are going to have to drill the mirrors to fit them. I personally wouldn't bother.
