Can't Leave This Standard!

My first kit car only cost £800 and it was a belter my mate had the v8 dutton s2 and it was a lethal deathtrap , i remember one day he tried to beat a porsche 968 from the lights , we were miles ahead within a few seconds until the propshaft shot up through the floorpan and missed us by inches - unfortunately Dave wasnt a mechanic just a driver and on kit cars the two main rules are "if it doesnt fit, make it fit" and "every month tighten every bolt" and that includes propshaft bolts but it was literally like being in a rocket, the g-force was like nothing i've ever experienced in any car ive driven and that includes standard Westfields - no commercial car can beat the thrill of being in a deathtrap and kit cars are just that - hit anything at speed you are dead! The only thing that comes close is an AC Cobra.

Thanks anyway guys , being on the bru is nothing , losing my dad was everything!
